The blue mussel’s high tolerance for extreme environmental conditions. For instance, although they’re normally found in shallow waters along the coast, the have been known to survive at considerable depths. Inside the mussels you’ll find the distinct deep orange flesh. Blue mussels have a delicate taste, are easy to prepare and can be served in many ways.

Grading:

  • Mixed grading. Vacuum packed or packed in net

Seasonality:

At its best during Autumn and Winter. Follow the official advice of Norwegian authorities on blue mussels.
